Blog update & book on sale tomorrow!

Two big announcements, folks!

Wordpress

First, this is the last official post on this version of the blog. I'm migrating Breakfast With Nick over to Wordpress. Blogger has become a little too restrictive, and Wordpress offers better opportunities for design, integration, and so on. Please update your bookmarks and RSS feeds to breakfastwithnick.wordpress.com, and let me know what you think of the new design!

In the next day or two, breakfastwithnick.com will be routed there, so you'll still only have to remember that simple web address. This current Blogger site will remain active for a while until I get everything transferred over and updated.

And secondly, the breakfast book is now on pre-sale through Tuesday, October 4 through our Kickstarter page! Because we are handling publication and printing ourselves, we are raising the funds for the first printing through Kickstarter. You can essentially pre-order the book by contributing to the project. This gets you a copy of the book, a bonus breakfast booklet from Igloo Letterpress (for the first 150 backers), and a special thanks in the book itself.

FOOD: I've had breakfast at the OSU Medical Center once before, about three years ago. We loved the experience so much, we decided to go back. The service is simply amazing, and the accommodations are very comfortable. The breakfast is surprisingly complex. We expected mainly jello and ice chips, but found a full menu that includes eggs, pancakes, turkey sausage patties, home fries, oatmeal, coffee, and juice. It's all delicious.

But my favorite item is the new breakfast burrito. His cheeks in particular are very munchable.

Our burrito is called Owen Samuel Dekker. He joined us on August 21st at 9:00 a.m. He, his mother, and his big brother Will are all doing very well.
